1. About us
This website is operated by National Building Meterials Limited, a company registered in England & Wales (company number 16513723), with its registered office at Units 1–4 Hembs Crescent, Great Barr, Birmingham, B43 5DG. We trade under the name "Fast Windows & Doors".

2. Made-to-measure goods
The windows and doors sold through this website are manufactured to your specific configuration (size, colour, glazing, hardware, and other options chosen at the configurator stage). They are bespoke goods made to your specifications.
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, your statutory right to cancel a distance contract within 14 days does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised. By placing an order you acknowledge this.
3. Pricing and payment
Prices shown on the website include VAT where applicable, but are subject to confirmation following an on-site survey (if requested). Delivery and survey costs are not included in the configurator price and are quoted separately.
Payment is taken in full at the time of order through Stripe. We do not store your card details — they are processed securely on Stripe's systems.
4. Survey
An on-site survey is available on request and is quoted separately based on location and complexity. We strongly recommend booking a survey before placing an order to confirm that the windows you've configured will fit your opening. We are not responsible for ordering errors made by you on the configurator without a confirmed survey.
5. Manufacturing and delivery
Lead times for uPVC windows are typically 2–3 weeks from confirmed order (3–4 weeks for sliding sash; 4–6 weeks for some Scotland, Wales, Devon, Cornwall, LA and CA postcodes). Estimated lead times are confirmed at the point of order and depend on specification, colour, and current production demand. Current lead times are published at /lead-times. We deliver across the UK mainland; collections are not available from our distribution centres.
Delivery charges: UK mainland delivery is free on orders £250 and over. Orders under £250 are subject to a £35 delivery charge.
You are responsible for ensuring there is reasonable access at the delivery address and that someone is available to receive the goods.
6. Your rights — non-bespoke faults
Despite the bespoke nature of the goods, you retain all your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. This means goods must be:
- Of satisfactory quality;
- Fit for purpose; and
- As described.
If a window arrives damaged, defective, or not as ordered, you must notify us within 7 days of delivery. We will repair, replace, or refund as appropriate under the Consumer Rights Act.
7. Guarantee
All windows are supplied with a 10-year guarantee against manufacturing defects. The guarantee does not cover damage caused by improper installation, misuse, accidental damage, or normal wear and tear.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Subject to the above, our total liability to you in respect of any one order shall not exceed the price you paid for that order.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the version published on our website at the time you placed it.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
11. Complaints
