Pricing & payment
How are your prices so much lower than the high street?
We sell direct from our UK factory — no commission-paid sales reps, no chain markup, no high-pressure home visits. Same A++ rated products, made in the same factories, at honest factory-direct prices.
Are prices including or excluding VAT?
Prices on product pages are excluding VAT. VAT (currently 20%) is added at checkout. The cart page shows your full breakdown.
How do I pay?
Securely by debit or credit card via Stripe. We never see or store your card details. For trade orders over £5,000, we can also arrange BACS payment with 30-day terms — contact us first.
Do you offer finance?
Not currently. We're working on adding finance options — sign up to our newsletter for updates.

Are your windows A-rated?
Yes — every window we sell is A++ rated as standard, with optional triple glazing for A+++. Our composite doors achieve a 0.8 W/m²K U-value — among the most thermally efficient in the UK.
Can I order custom sizes?
Every product is made-to-measure. The product page shows the supported size range — anything larger or smaller, just contact us for a quote.
Do you do bay windows / arched / shaped?
Bay windows yes — please contact us with the bay angle and dimensions. Arched and shaped windows are available on a quote-only basis.
What colours can I have?
Each product page shows the standard colour range. Beyond that, we can colour-match to any RAL code — surcharges and lead-time premiums apply. Contact us with the RAL number.
Delivery & install
Where do you deliver?
Mainland UK as standard. Highlands & Islands, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands attract a surcharge — contact us for a quote before ordering.
Where do you install?
England & Wales currently. Scotland coverage rolling out in 2026. Northern Ireland is referral-only.
How long is the lead time?
From 14 days for uPVC windows, up to 42 days for hand-built timber. Each product page shows its lead time.
Can I track my order?
Yes — once your order is dispatched (supply-only) or scheduled for install (supply & install), you'll get email and SMS tracking with a 4-hour delivery window.
Building Regs & FENSA
What is FENSA?
FENSA is the official scheme that certifies window and door installations meet UK Building Regulations. Every supply & install order from us comes with a FENSA certificate, registered with your local authority within 30 days of installation.
Do I need a FENSA certificate for supply-only?
Yes — but it's your fitter's responsibility. They need to be FENSA / CERTASS / BMTRADA registered to self-certify. Alternatively, your local authority can inspect. We can refer you to a local FENSA fitter if needed.
Do you handle Building Regs?
For supply & install orders, yes — fully included. For supply-only, no, that's your fitter's responsibility.
Guarantees & aftercare
What's the guarantee?
10 years on the frame, 5 years on the sealed glass units, and 10 years on installation workmanship if we fit. Every guarantee is fully transferable if you sell your home.
How do I claim under guarantee?
Email sales@fastwindowsdoors.com with photos and your order reference. We typically resolve guarantee claims within 14 days.
How do I clean and maintain my new windows?
Soapy water and a soft cloth — that's it for uPVC and aluminium. For timber, we provide a maintenance pack with each delivery. Avoid abrasive cleaners and never pressure-wash sealed glass units.
